Declan Maxwell
CFODeclan joined Midland Tyres services in May 2019 as Chief Financial Officer, having previous worked with Reynolds Logistics as Managing Director. He brings with him a wealth of experience from Logistics and manufacturing industry. He has particular interest in financial systems, business process automation, Information technology. He is responsible for the Finance Function, ITC and HR in Midland tyres.
Chris Parle
COOHaving worked as a service partner of MTS for many years, Chris was instrumental in promoting the Mitas/Cultor tractor tyre range working closely with Luke McRedmond. He amalgamated his company with MTS in 2018 and took up the role of Operations Director. Chris puts a lot of emphasis on staff training including tyre safety inflation, safety to work by the roadside and fleet tyre maintenance.
Luke McRedmond
Sales DirectorWith over 20 years’ experience in the motor trade, Luke joined MTS in April 2011 as sales representative. Luke now leads our Sales team as director of Business Development and has been instrumental in developing Midland Tyre Services chosen brands: Torque, Michelin, Goodyear and Mitas & Cultor. Luke's knowledge of tyres, threads and patterns along with their application is unsurpassed in the industry.
Grainne Foyle
Office ManagerGrainne has worked in Midlands for the last 17 years in various administrative and financial areas. She now oversees the day to day running of the office at HQ Borris in Ossory. Grainne also ensures that Midland Tyres at all times follows best practice in relation to Covid and has completed Covid compliance training certified externally.

Midland Tyre Services - Ireland's leading supplier of truck, agri and off-the-road (OTR) tyres. Expertise in fleet management and through our maintenance programs as well as the 24-hour Ireland-wide truck breakdown service and truck blow outs.
We pride ourselves on being Ireland's Number One destination for anyone seeking quality, expertise, unrivalled customer service and innovation.
We believe as a business in supporting worthy causes and those in need. In 2020 we carry out a number of activities, with the involvement of staff, suppliers, customers and friends of Midland Tyres to give back to the Community. These included:
- In July 2020 staff at Midland Tyre undertook a series of challenges, with the company donating €250 for each one completed. Customers and members of the public could also text to donate €4.
- The challenges included the egg, sugar and shot challenge, the press up challenge, the ice bucket challenge and the hurling ball challenge, all of which took place at Midland Tyre Services in Co. Laois. The fundraiser raised over €10,000 for Pieta House the suicide and self-harm crisis centre.
- In November 2020 the staff of Midlands grew moustaches for Movember. This included an online vote every week for the “dustbuster of the week” and we raised over €10,000 for Movember is a charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round.
- As part of our Movember initiative the Company matched the public donations to Movember and donated over €10,000 to Cork Penny Dinners, one of Cork’s oldest caring charitable organisations who help those in need. Cork Penny Dinners provide hot nourishing meals daily. In addition, sandwiches, biscuits, fruit and juice are also available to take away as an evening meal
Midland Tyres has been based in Borris in Ossory for over 20 years and we are committed to maintaining and expending our presence in Borris-in-Ossory
